Ioannis Kioumourtzis ist ein griechischer Pianist, Musikwissenschaftler, Musikpädagoge und Musiktheoretiker, der in Berlin aktiv ist. An der Aristoteles Universität Thessaloniki hat er ein Studium in Musikwissenschaft und Musikpädagogik abgeschlossen. Parallel dazu hat er als künstlerisches Hauptfach Klavier und Musiktheorie (Harmonielehre, Kontrapunt und Fuge) studiert. Er hat an mehreren Kongressen als Referent teilgenommen und seine Forschungsergebnisse wurden bereits partiell publiziert. Zusätzlich ist er als Klavierlehrer und Lehrbeauftragter für Musiktheorie an einer Musikakademie in Berlin tätig. Seit 2021 unterrichtet er Klavier im Bachelorstudiengang „Musikpädagogik und Musikvermittlung in Sozialer Arbeit“ an der HCHP.
